Opening Events

Wednesday, 11 March at 18:00 • Auditorium
Professor Moshe Phillip will give the opening speech, followed by Professor Boris Kovatchev, who will give the keynote lecture “How artificial intelligence (AI) can help the human-machine co-regulation of diabetes”. The Welcome Networking Reception will take place in the Exhibition immediately following the Opening Session and Event.

Short Oral Presentations

Short Oral Presentations will take place during the coffee breaks at the e-Poster stations in the Exhibition Area.

Each presenter will give a 3-minute talk followed by 2 minutes of discussion, moderated by a chairperson.

Note: Headsets will be provided for attendees

Industry Information

International Fair of New Technologies in Diabetes

Come and see the innovative work that start-up companies will be presenting, and exchange views and ideas with them. Tech Fair presentations will take place at the Innovation Stage in the Exhibition Area, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the breaks.

Guidelines for Speakers / Oral Poster Presenters

All speakers must check in with their presentation on a USB Memory stick with the technician at the Speakers’ Ready Room at least 2 hours before the session starts

Starting 18 March 2026, the session recordings* will be available exclusively to ATTD registered participants for 3 months, on the ATTD Educational Portal on UNLOK. (*Subject to presenter consent)

Conference abstracts will be available on the mobile App and on the virtual platform during the conference and published in the DTT Journal here.

CME and Certificate of Attendance

ATTD 2026 conference has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Number of points? Certificates will only be available AFTER the conference. Printed Certificates of Attendance will not be available on-site.

 

To Receive Your CME/CPD Certificate

The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit-claiming procedure. The process takes about 5 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of CME/CPD accreditation and helps improve future educational offerings.

  1. Login to the ATTD Education Portal OR register first if you don’t have an account.*
    * register using the same email address as your ATTD Conference registration.
    * make sure to select “Diabetes” as your main field of interest.
  2. Once logged in, go to “Online Learning”, and click on the CME/CPD certificate banner on the landing page.
  3. Complete the anonymous online evaluation.
  4. Complete the credit claim form and submit it.
  5. The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download; retain it for your personal records.

Kindly note that the ATTD 2026 online evaluation will be active on the last day of the meeting. You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.

Liability and Insurance

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The ATTD 2026 Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Prescriber / Non-Prescriber

Support from pharmaceutical partners helps make this event possible. As such, it is important that we
comply with the various codes and directives relating to the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The Human Medicine Regulations 2012, (clauses 294-300) and the European Union directive (2001/83/EC, article 86) provide guidelines relating to medicinal products for human use. Within these guidelines is the restriction that access to pharmaceutical product marketing activities must be limited to only those participants licensed / authorised to prescribe or supply medicinal products.

All participants, with the exception of the exhibitors, are asked the following question during registration: Are you licensed / authorised to prescribe or supply prescription only medicines?

Guest attendance Policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
